Yes / No: Every Kalshi contract has two sides. Buying Yes on "Nets win" bets the Nets win; buying No bets they don't. So a big No on one team is really a bet on the other team.
Sharp: A bettor or trader with a long, proven record of winning, usually by betting before prices move. A casual bettor is called a square.
Whale: A trader placing a very large bet. We flag every single Kalshi trade of $2,500 or more on today's games.; Example: $40K traded on the Nets at 52¢ = a whale backing the Nets.
