Weekly picks contest: official rules

The contest is run by TheBloom Biz LLC, doing business as Spot Angle (“Spot Angle”, “we”). Questions: support@getspotangle.com.

Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 or older when they enter and have a free Spot Angle account. One account per person; entries from duplicate or fake accounts are disqualified.

Employees and contractors of Spot Angle and TheBloom Biz LLC, and their immediate family and household members, can't win.

Each contest week runs from Monday 12:00 a.m. to Sunday 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. A new contest starts every Monday.

Sign in and post picks on the Post your picks page. Every pick for a game played during the contest week is entered automatically. Entering is free.

Picks close 30 minutes before the game starts, you can hold up to 10 open picks at a time, and picks can't be edited or deleted after posting. Profiles we track from public posts (not Spot Angle members) are not entered.

Each pick is locked at the live Kalshi price at the moment it's posted and graded automatically when the game ends. Your score is the profit you would have made staking $100 on every graded pick at those prices, after Kalshi's trading fees. No real money is staked.

You need at least 3 graded picks in the week to qualify. Highest score wins. Ties go to the higher return per pick, then to the entrant with more graded picks.

Games that are postponed past the contest week, cancelled or voided don't count. Our grading records are final, but if we find a grading error we'll correct it before naming a winner.

One winner per week receives one free month of Spot Angle Pro (approximate retail value $12.99). If the winner already pays for Pro, the prize is a $12.99 credit on their Spot Angle account (for yearly plans, one-twelfth of the yearly price), applied to their next bill. If not, Pro is switched on for 30 days with no card required and ends automatically.

The prize can't be exchanged for cash or transferred. A person can win more than one week. If no one qualifies in a week, no prize is awarded for that week.

The winner is shown on the contest page once all of the week's picks are graded, normally on Monday and no later than Tuesday. We also email the winner at the address on their account.

The winner claims the prize by signing in and pressing Claim my free month on the contest page or their Account page. A prize not claimed within 60 days of the end of the contest week is forfeited.

By entering, you agree that your Spot Angle handle, picks and results may be shown publicly on the site, including on the contest page and leaderboards. We don't publish your name or email.

We can disqualify anyone who tampers with the contest, uses more than one account, uses automated tools to post picks, or otherwise acts unfairly, and we can cancel or change the contest if it can't run as planned for reasons outside our control. Any change will be posted on this page.

The contest is for entertainment. Nothing on Spot Angle is betting advice. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply. Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize.
